The reunion will be held at:
The Hampton Inn & Suites Bremerton, WA hotel is the newest hotel in Bremerton, Washington located on the Bremerton Waterfront, next to "Kitsap County" Bremerton Harbor side Conference Center. The Seattle, Bremerton Ferry Terminal is adjacent to our hotel. You can enjoy great views of Sinclair Bay as the Seattle Ferry passes by. They are a convenient location for the cruise lines departing from the Seattle Waterfront.
The Hampton Inn & Suites Bremerton hotel is nearby to the following Washington area attractions:
McCormick Woods, Gold Mountain and Trophy Lake are excellent golf courses all close to Bremerton. The ferry terminal, which has numerous daily runs to Seattle (1 hour ride) and Port Orchard (15 minute ride), is about 200 feet away from the hotel.
Parking is at the garage under the hotel, $5. Per night.
Transportation options from the airport include the Kitsap Airporter, providing door to door service between the airport and the hotel, so anyone flying in can just walk outside baggage claim and catch a ride.
70 rooms are reserved at the government at the 2008 per diem rate, which is currently $79 per night. Also reserved are 5 suites at $129 a night for us, there may be a few more available if we need them. Reservations can be made now, referring to our group name, the Navy Nuclear Weapons Association.

Guided Tour Information
25 SEP: Clearwater Casino Group Tour.
Great gaming at Clearwater. Find a seat at one of our many table games including Pai Gow, Blackjack, Poker, Craps and Roulette. They also offer Poker, Keno and more Video Slots. There is normally live entertainment or a show every day.
Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort has a restaurant for every appetite. Families can enjoy a quick bite at the Agate Pass Deli or settle in at the Longhouse Buffet where it's all-you-can-eat everyday. Catch the game on one of our giant television screens at the Beach Rock Sport Lounge or enjoy the intimate atmosphere of the Cedar Steakhouse.
Slip into a soft, oversized robe and feel the stress melt away in our full service spa. The seven treatment rooms include a manicure/pedicure area with a dazzling view of the clear salt water from which the Suquamish people took their name. They offer state of the art facials, basalt hot stone massages, aromatherapy and full body treatments in private and couples suites.
The casino will provide no cost transportation there and back for a 3 hour minimum stay. Shows/performers are unknown at this time.
26 SEP: The Duck Biersch Tour (Surf and Turf Tour). You haven't seen Seattle until you've seen it from a Duck! The hilarious, Coast Guard-certified maritime captains will take you on a musical tour of the Emerald City. Amphibious World War II vehicles will show you Seattle from both land and water! You'll see downtown Seattle, Pike Place Market and historic Pioneer Square, then, SPLASH into the water for a party on wheels that floats!!
The DUKW (or as we like to call them 'Ducks') was an amphibious landing craft developed by the United States Army during World War II. It was designed to deliver cargo from ships at sea directly to the shore.
Work up an appetite for great food while you cruise the city and the sea on your own private Duck! Then, enjoy lunch or dinner at Gordon Biersch in Pacific Place, located in the heart of downtown Seattle! The tour price includes lunch! With attentive and friendly service, exceptional food, and specialty brewed beers, this is an unparalleled dining experience! All meals include fountain drinks. From Gordon Biersch, walk to Pike Place Market for shopping.

As far as after the lunch in Seattle, we can either all return to Bremerton as a group, or members can shop/sightsee in Seattle and return to Bremerton at their own pace. There is a ferry to Bremerton about every 75 minutes. RESERVATIONS FOR THE GUIDED TOURS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 12 SEP

The ferry ride from Bremerton to Seattle is free, but the ferry ride from Seattle to Bremerton is $6.25. This cost is in addition to the Surf and Turf fee.
26 SEP: Group Dinner Anthony’s Seafood Restaurant.
If there is enough interest we can have a group dinner at Anthony’s Seafood Restaurant on Friday evening. Anthony’s waterfront restaurants offer a broad selection of banquet facilities. Anthony's at Bremerton is located in the new Harbor side Development, adjacent to the Kitsap Conference Center where it overlooks the Bremerton Marina and hosts spectacular, sweeping views of Sinclair Inlet where the Bremerton ferry and numerous Naval ships glide by.
WE WILL NEED TO KNOW IF THERE IS ANY INTEREST AND APPROXIMATE NUMBERS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE in order to reserve the room. Each person would be responsible for their meal costs. There is no group discount.

The Naval Memorial Museum of the Pacific, commonly known as Bremerton Naval Museum, has been in continuous operation for 50 years. It is located at 402 Pacific Avenue in downtown Bremerton, three blocks north of the ferry dock and one block west. Hours are 10 am until 4 pm Mon thru Sat and 1 pm until 4 pm Sunday’s year around. Closed Sundays during Jan and Feb.
Among its many artifacts is a bamboo wrapped wooden cannon of Korean origin dating back to around 1377 AD; a 1000 lb, bell from USS Bremerton (CA-130); furnishings from Admiral Dewey's wardroom aboard USS Olympia during Spanish-American War; photos from the attack on Pearl Harbor as well as photos from the Japanese surrender signing aboard USS Missouri. There are many artifacts from the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and one of a kind ship models.
2. Bremerton Harbor side and Louis Mentor Boardwalk
Stroll along the Louis Mentor Boardwalk to enjoy some of the best views in the county. The Harbor side is located right next to the ferry terminal along beautiful Sinclair Inlet. You’ll enjoy the playful fountains, wide plaza and relaxing gathering places as you watch ferries, sailboats and wildlife.
3. Amy Burnett Art Gallery

4. Kitsap County Historical Society

Located in the old Seafirst Bank building, this museum documents the fascinating early history of Kitsap County. The museum has one of the finest collections of historic photographs in the area. Museum exhibits include a model of a logging camp and scale models of typical early storefronts in the town. Rotating exhibits depict various aspects of the county’s history and programs pertaining to local history. The museum shop offers unique books and gifts that are sure to please everyone on your gift list. In addition, the museum archives are available for historical research.
5. The Sidney Museum (10 minute Foot Ferry ride to Port Orchard)

Located on the second floor of the Sidney Gallery. The museum features vignettes of life in early South Kitsap County and includes a general store, school, doctor's office and hardware store
6. Log Cabin Museum (10 minute Foot Ferry ride to Port Orchard)

The museum currently houses changing exhibits of home life in the South Kitsap area during the past 100 years. The cabin is located on its original site, one of the original two of Sidney town plots that measure 60 feet in width fronting on Sidney, by 150 feet deep extending to the west.
Transportation from Sea-Tac Airport: The Kitsap Airporter provides transportation from SEATAC Airport directly to the Hampton Inn Suites in Bremerton.
Bremerton-Kitsap Airporter, Inc. provides scheduled, safe, and dependable ground transportation to and from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The one-way cost to Bremerton for seniors and Active Duty is $16.00, regular adults $20.00.
