I graduated from Explosive Ordnance Disposal School (Conventional and Special Weapons) in the fall of 1961 and reported for duty aboard USS RAINIER (AE-5) in 1962 and served as Gunnery Officer and Special Weapons Officer until separation from Navy in August of 1964. I believe I qualify for membership in NNWA, but I do not see any EOD listing as a prerequisite for membership.
