I noted Maurice Gadbois passing. When I was a young 2nd Class on the USS Ticonderoga he was my LPO. Seems many of our shipmates are being transferred to higher command. Here in Oregon we have been busy trying to save our Roseburg VA Hospital. Our group made it all the way to the state legislature and had a resolution passed supporting us...the VA still is not living up to the promises made to us. We need to keep fighting for "blue-water sailors" and the Agent Orange related problems many of us are having. On another subject my book: Brotherhood of Doom: Memoirs of a Navy Nuclear Weaponsman is now on kindle and other elect. devices...not an advertisment just an observation...best to all my shipmates, and thanks to Ray for being an outstanding webmaster..(great guy, he pinned on my chief's anchors in Guam)!
Please wait...
