Finally released- "Broken Arrow, Volume II- A Disclosure of Significant U.S., Soviet, and British Nuclear Weapons Incidents and Accidents , 1945-2008" by Michael H. Maggelet and James C. Oskins. 338 pages with tons of photos.
ISBN 9780557655939. Available through Barnes and Noble, Books A Million, Amazon.com, etc. or contact me for an autographed copy.
After three years of FOIA requests (some still pending) Jim and I have finally published our newest research on additional US nuclear weapons accidents, including the loss of a suspected Mk15 Mod 0 bomb off NAS Mayport in June 1957, USN warship hit by NVN artillery, lightning strikes on USAF missiles, etc. Also included is declassified Board of Inquiry material on the loss of USS Scorpion, and USS Kennedy and USS Belknap collision. We cover some not-so-well- known Soviet incidents and UK incidents, along with some newly declassified documents on known DOD accidents and informative chapters on Bent Spears.

Yours, Mike
