Jim Little wrote, "The new Blue Water law is a fiasco...congress set a 12 mile limit so carriers off the coast of Vietnam would be excluded!". I was on the RANGER in the South China Sea '64-'66. The VA gave me 60% combat related from agent orange. It seems we hit the 12 mile limit many times during my time aboard. Look up your ship on this site https://www.hillandponton.com/blue-water-navy-vietnam-map/ . Not ALL ships are listed, but my exposure dates are listed.
